Join an open evening - learn and share new ways of gathering, holding community meetings and making decisions. Tuesday, September 14th, 7pm, Linnaea School.
The successful August ‘Open Space’ gathering about the funding of our community halls has inspired some who want to learn more about these new methods of gathering and decision-making. This evening is NOT topic specific. We are gathering to learn, share and practice techniques, not discuss issues. Many believe that it is time for this community to expand its tool-kit and pattern new ways of discussing complex and important community topics.
Rod Lee’s recent ‘Going Forward’ letter to the community has caught many people’s attention and we may well be in a moment of change. Our community boards and associations do the best they know how to do with the tools and methods they know. There is always room for new tools.
If you are interested in learning how to either lead or participate in new forms of gathering, ‘Open Space’ included, please join us this Tuesday at 7pm at Linnaea School.
