Fri-Sun. July 2-4, Dorje Ling Dharma Centre is honoured to host a weekend of teachings by the noted Courtney-based Tibetan Buddhist monk, Geshe YongDong.
Meditation can be a powerful tool to heal our bodies, our hearts, and our minds. These teachings are suitable for students of all faith traditions and any experience level.
Registration is $10, and teachings are by donation. Teaching may reach capacity, so please register in advance if possible.
This weekend will focus on the basics of Tibetan meditation – preparation, intention, breath, stilling the mind and dealing with thoughts. There will be time to discuss and ask questions about your practice and any difficulties you may have in meditation.SCHEDULEFriday 7–9pm
