As part of the ongoing Hollyhock presenter’s evenings in aid of the Islander’s Scholarship fund, Sharon Butala, Canadian writer, read from her most recent book, The Girl in Saskatoon.

Her preamble wove a harrowing tale of her frustrating experiences in bring this 48 year old unsolved murder into being, the lies, the threats, and of her “coming of age.”
