Notices, Workshops & Rides: Season's Colours: The Spring Dye Workshop
Each season of the year has its unique collection of dye plants awaiting experimentation; over the course of this year I will hold four workshops in which we will forage for local wayside, wilderness and garden plants (as well as in our pantries in winter). The first workshop will explore the possibilities of spring. Each participant will select a plant to gather from a list that I will send out when you register, or perhaps one that you choose from your own yard, garden, or forest trail. The heart of natural dyeing is alive in the world all around us, as we go abroad with our baskets, and bring back our discoveries to share.
