Allow me to point to a historic conference happening right now in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

It is the First People's World People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth.

“We want to celebrate the International Day of Mother Earth with a massive statement in support of the restoration of the rights of mother earth and harmony with nature.” said President Evo Morales.

The event will close tomorrow on Earth Day – April 22 with a Declaration of Rights of Mother Earth.
