Celebrate our Island bounty with good food and community at the Seafood Festival (formally Oysterfest), celebrating oysters, mussels, clams, (and maybe scallops and prawns) everywhere but mostly here on Cortes. Saturday May 22, at the Squirrel Cove common area beside store.
Serving begins at 11:30 AM
2010 Food Court proceeds to support the Old School House Gallery renovation projects and the Seafood Association water testing program.

Oysters, Authors and Ale at the Squirrel Cove restaurant. Serving begins at 7 PM
Purpose - To raise awareness of the work Literacy Now does in our community, as well as to celebrate local food and artists. Funds raised will be used to support future literacy now programs.
Ticket Cost - $20, $10 of which goes to support future Literacy Now programming here on Cortes.
Ticket Includes - One baked oyster, one raw oyster, beer samplers, light hors d'oeuvres, readings from local authors, and one ticket into the draw for our fantastic door prizes.
There will be additional oysters, desserts, door prize tickets, hors d'oeuvres and drinks for sale.
