On behalf of the Cortes Island School,
The PAC would like to thank the many generous donors and volunteers that contributed to another successful Winter Celebration at the Cortes Island School
Many thanks and lovely bouquets of roses to the big-hearted businesses of Cortes Island for their ongoing support of our school. Special thanks go out to Carol and Steve London of Tai- Li Lodge and to Mike and Samantha Moore of Misty Isles Adventures. The PAC would also like to thank Strathcona Park Lodge for their generous contribution of a weekend stay.
It took many hands working together to pull off the evening, but there were a few community volunteers who deserve an extra mention; Sakiko Neufer, Loreena Teames, and Joanne Thompson for spreading the love in the kitchen, serving up tasty treats, and to Diane Hansen for her donation of the spectacular seafood chowder. Many thanks to all the folks who donated the scrumptious food for the concession and to Ann Dewar for extended help with the decorating and general set up.
The kindness that these individuals and businesses have shown sends a strong message to our students that they are indeed part of a greater community that cares for them and their futures.
