A special thanks to the Wifi Society for helping with our application. Do we want more wirelesss radiation?
Comment by Myann on 6th April 2009
More transmission towers mean more radiation. Ideally we would wait until there is actually conclusive evidence that exposure to this radiation is safe before covering every square kilometre of the planet with wireless signals.
Grant explanation
Comment by Twincomm on 1st April 2009
Twincomm received a grant for a tower in Whaletown to provide high speed internet access to the community of Whaletown.
What does this mean?
Comment by Becky Knutson on 1st April 2009
Sorry to be uninformed, but what was this grant application? Does this mean Whaletown will have hi speed access available? If so, that is very exciting. Some more info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
