Breath is the basic and most fundamental expression of our life. We were born breathing and continue to breathe until we die. In the teaching of Buddha, the breath is said to be "the vehicle of the mind", because it is the breath that makes our mind move. When working with the breath, you are also calming and training your mind which can lead to a deeper awareness and spiritual awakening.

The breath has a perfect natural rhythm and is a wondrous tool that can be used by the beginner as well as the advanced practitioner. The many types and methods of breathing will be discussed and students will learn to focus on and experience the energy of the breath.

Geshe YongDong, Tibetan monk, will present this workshop using several methods to guide practitioners in developing the power of breath and mind to heal and improve our physical, mental and emotional health.
