I didn’t think I would be lucky enough to find a Yoga studio in Alamos, but I did. There is a lovely studio run by Jennifer Mackay,at El Pedregal, straw bale studio. I found a small ad. in a local newsletter and after inquiring around we found out where it was. Richard and I walked out to the studio which is just 20 minutes from our casita.
Jennifer has three classes a week and I got out to my first one this morning. What a wonderful thing Yoga is. I left feeling tranquil and pampered. Perfect. The setting is charming. Jennifer has all the equipment including lovely mexican blankets for use on the mat. Looking out of the door one sees soft green trees and hears the chirping of birds.
The property is well maintained and on the edge of Mesquite forest and bush. Walking back home at 10am. the butterflies were all about along the road. I couldn’t have asked for more.
