Drove from Berkeley to Victorville CA, 6 to 7 hours, filled the gas tank with $1.84 per US Gallon cheapest grade gasoline. Now ensconced in the New Budget Motel for $50 for the night. Will watch movies tonight.

Went to a family restaurant and we had huge servings of everything for $8 each. Half of it was packed away for on-the-road morning snacks. We’ll get an early start for another 6 to 7 hour journey to North Tuscon to stay with Ann and Paul. (There will be a time change to consider)
