Join us for an afternoon of cheesecraft at Linnaea! We’ll be making fresh cheese, paneer, blue cheese and mozzarella using fresh raw milk from the farm. Learn about the theory and history of cheese, the politics of raw milk and dairy, other dairy ferments and rennet-free cheesemaking,

Saturday October 11th
4-6 pm, maybe longer (there’ll be snacks)
at the Linnaea Farmhouse (down the path from the school)

The workshop will be a fundraiser for the Linnaea Garden Students scholarship fund, with a suggested donation of $20. David Rotsztain and Brendan Parsons will be your Instructors. David has given cheese workshops at the Sustainable living arts school and the UBC farm in Vancouver. Brendan is a longtime chef and fermentation fetishist. Both have been experimenting with raw milk cheeses since coming to Linnaea.

Childcare will be available.
