A merger of serenade with sonata, Serenate suggests the scintillating sound of strings (with winds and brass on occasion). Music is chosen to reflect the finest of the classical genre for small orchestra. The orchestra will feature Mozart's Piano Concerto #9 K.271 "Jeunehomme" with Allen Reiser at the piano; Cantical for an Angel by Michael Conway Baker, with Calvin Dyck, violin, and more.
