The Cortes Island Museum will open for the summer season on Saturday, June 14th (Garden Tour Day) and will be open to the public every Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This season's highlights include:

• Clam Gardens - Aboriginal Mariculture on Canada's West Coast
• Raven's Relations - Natural History corner
• Postal History of Cortes continues from last year
• Pioneer Kitchen
• Comfy Corner where visitors can relax and look at albums of heritage photos
• Kids' Korner

OPENING IN JULY: Nellie Jeffery’s Artefact Collection.

The Heritage Garden will feature new signage identifying plants from island homesteads and a new picnic table in the garden for visitors' enjoyment.
