The last Old Schoolhouse Gallery show of the season was a dedication to Cortes by painter Stefano Savioli, which he named, Cortes Mon Amour. Old and new paintings delighted the many attendees. Stefano had great titles to his paintings.
Beside painting number 3 below, he had this label, a tribute to Bertha’s Market
There’s a place in Cortes where, when everywhere else is dark, people gather... like “insects” attracted by the light... seven days a week... nine to nine... and a liquor store... Roses to Betha (Heart Drawing)
Below that is a wonderful potrait of the late, Pierre de Trey.
Please notice special days and times for this show:
Opening night: Saturday Sep 22, from 6 to 9 pm
Continues: Sunday Sep 23, from 3 to 6 pm
Saturday Sep 29 and Sunday Sep 30, from 3 to 6 pm
