Once a month, the Cortes Lit Club (mostly homeschooled kids in the 10 to 13 age range) host a YA Book Club for all ages and all people on the island. We would love to have YOU join us. Dates and details below.... Get reading now to be ready!

Next week we are reading El Deafo the delightful graphic autobiography of CeCe Bell who goes profoundly deaf at age four. Quick read. Great introduction into the graphic novel form if you aren't sold yet, this may convince you.

Next month we encourage you to read by These are My Words: The Residential School Diary of of Violet Peahens and Fatty Legs to YA books about residential schools.

Here are the details: The All-Island Book Club (ALL AGES!) 

The Lit Club hosts this monthly book club for Cortesians of all ages to discuss novels together. The novels are mostly considered Young Adult but include a trove of some of the best literature being published today. 

The All-island Book Club meets at Linnaea at 1p.m. on these Tuesdays:
