Not yet decided? Inclined to vote for change but not certain which of the three systems on the ballot is best? Bonnie Brownstein of the Campbell River/Quadra chapter of Fair Vote Canada will do her best to answer your questions. Remember – you are allowed to just answer the first question on the ballot and leave the second one blank if you have not yet decided which of the three options you prefer. All of them would be a considerable improvement over the voting system we use now. If you want to read more or need something you can send to people, see the print explanations and videos at the following sources:

I hear that some people are throwing their ballots in the trash because they find them confusing/daunting. It is very important to explain the ballot and the issues to your family members, friends, neighbours and workmates. For seven articles with clear explanations see Bonnie’s series in The Discovery Islander at http://www.discoveryislands.ca/news/ - past issues are under the tab at the left hand side “Back issues” Part 8 with a summary of the reasons to vote for change will be published on November 2nd.
