The Museum is opening the fall season with an exciting look back at one of Cortes Island’s most successful fundraising endeavours, the 2005 Calendar, Cortes Island at Work and Play
.For three days only
, enlargements of Richard Trueman’s tasteful photographs of your naked neighbours will be featured in the Museum’s main gallery. The calendar raised close to $30,000 in support of the Cortes Health Center. It is hoped that by revisiting this amazing example of community spirit, Islanders will be moved to undertake other major fundraising initiatives to help fund some of the many projects so important to the well-being of our Island.
