Hyperbole is not enough! Naomi Cairns’ west coast large paintings are exquisite! Viewed from afar or up close they satisfy the most demanding connoisseur as realistic and abstract art works. Her depiction of light rivals a Turner, her gusto in brushwork up close match the delicious work of the artist, Wayne Thiebaud. (Click the link HERE and go down to “Tulip Sundaes”)

A large crowd, despite the hot weather, was welcomed at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery and sales were brisk.

You just have to see this show and marvel at Ms Cairns' prowess. One piece, a triptych is 15 feet long and you need to back up the whole space to fully see its grandeur.

This show continues this weekend and next:
Saturday and Sunday August 11, 12, -18, 19, from 2 to 6 PM
Friday the 17th, from 6 to 9 PM
