We are organizing an Old Schoolhouse Gallery Exhibit this Summer, “All Things DIGITAL”, June, 29, 30, July 1, and July 6, 7, 8. Irene and I would love to have you participate. Whether you take photos or movies with your phone, tablet, camera, or Go Pro, create music or art digitally, you will have some media that needs to be seen or heard.
If you are a still photographer, look at your gallery of images and pick, initially, three of them and next time in Campbell River, get Staples or Photo Tech to make at least 8 by 10s of them. Their prices are very reasonable and they also accept JPG images online and can mail you the prints. If you have trouble deciding which to show, email me some images and I will help you decide. I say three prints at first to this Photography part of this media exhibit, but more could be possible depending on responses and ideas, proposed.
There is no limit or constraint to the subject matter for this show as I know some of you capture people, selfies, abstracts, landscapes, and animals. They can be framed, matted, or un-matted, (I personally like my photos without a matte or frame.) There is no restriction or theme to movie clips, or music either. Our goal here is to show what people are doing within the digital revolution.
Movie and Go Pro clips from phones, tablets, or drones gratefully accepted. If you also have display ideas, We would love to get feedback and help you to implement them if at all possible for this kind of show.
If you create music or art, digitally, then this too is the show to for you.
