Join us on Thursday, February 22nd for a Mexican Dream Cuisine dinner cooked by chef Amy Bockner.

Adults $33. Kids $20. Beer and wine will be available at an additional cost.

To start: Chicken tortilla soup with avacado, creme fraiche, lime, and cilantro.

Main: Local lingcod and snapper tacos with chipotle mayo, mango salsa, shredded cabbage, and feta cheese. Served with Jicama salad.

Dessert: Spiced Mexican brownie with warm caramel.


Reservations are required. Book your spot at the Co-op before Wednesday, February 21st!

We allow the chefs for the dinner series to pick what they make available or not. In many cases, depending on the type of food, it's difficult or impossible for a vegetarian option; even if it is possible, it is often a lot of extra work - especially when cooking for 50+ people. We therefore encourage that option but it's only sometimes available. I am happy to say that the next dinner (French on March 8th) will have a vegetarian option for sure.

Please!? Love Mexican food. The Cortes Co-op Cafe was founded as a vegetarian enterprise. But now it's getting rather hard to find anything my family can eat there.
