From the large patio, you can frequently see eagles soaring and fish leaping. Some historians credit Captain Vancouver with naming Squirrel Cove during a winter he spent waiting out the weather here. The uniqueness of the Cove impresses everyone who visits. Travelers who are fortunate enough to enter Squirrel Cove may experience strange or 'special' feelings, a peculiar magic that is hard to explain unless you have felt it.
