May 31st, 2003 on the eve of the new moon, the Old Schoolhouse Gallery opened its doors to a collabrative showing by some 28 artists.
The theme was the the Mayan Cosmology as depicted by the 13 moons in their calendar year and how each artist, born under one of those moon cycles, interpredted the symbols and charateristics particular to moon cycle. Pictured here are just a few of the 'Temples' and their artists. Please go and see more. The Temple of the Feathered Serpent is open until the full moon, June 13, 2003. Dates open and times are in an article previous to this one. This event has been envisioned and coordinated by dwayneedwardrourke.com photos: richardtrueman.com |
