Discover nature's unspoiled beauty at Healing Waters Beach Retreat and enjoy the natural surroundings by simply lying still, eyes closed, allowing the sun and the sounds of the changing tides to renew your mind, body and spirit.

Healing Waters is located on two park-like acres at the south end of Cortes Island next to Hollyhock Learning Centre. With a South-East exposure, there is sunshine on the beach from sunrise to sunset.

Healing Waters has a wonderful fine sand beach where you can spend the day in a comfortable beach chair shaded by an umbrella. Swimming in ocean water that is 21 degrees C or 72 degrees F is hard to believe. Only minutes away, you can also swim in a freshwater lake with a white sandy beach.
The beach slopes gently and makes swimming safe, even for children. Tidal changes up to 5 metres( 15 ft), cause the water to recede a long distance at low tide and the beach becomes even more expansive. At this time, the tidal pools are filled with crabs, starfish and shellfish.

Healing Waters is ideal for family vacations, romantic get-a-ways, or an adventure destination for kayakers. Two person kayaks are available to rent. Robert will give you and introductory lesson if you have never kayaked before. You can also soak in a cedar wood fired hot tub located at the edge of the beach day or night.
