Eagle Wind Press was established on Cortes Island to bring a major printmaking facility to serve the printmaking needs of local artist as well as Vancouver Island and lower mainland Canadian artist communities.

Our mission is to introduce a non toxic, eco friendly materials to the printing process in a beautiful and inspiring environment.

EAGLE WIND PRESS overlooks Smelt Bay on the Southern end of Cortes Island. Surrounded by gardens and fruit trees, this exquisite environment lends to the peace and beauty that allows for inspiration and creativity.

Eagle Wind Press offers a nontoxic holistic eco-friendly approach to printmaking. Artist are invited to use the press to expand their repertory of work. Printmakers will find all the equipment and support they will need to pull new editions or monotypes. Over night accommodations are available at nearby Bed and Breakfast or the Provincial Park that is within walking distance.

Artists who produce prints on the press may take advantage of the marketing resources of Eagle Wind Press. A full time professional printer is on site to assist you with materials and printing.
