It was a wild and wooly afternoon at the Klahoose Band Hall Saturday afternoon with the performance of traditional Coast Salish dances by the Sna’7em Dancers from the Squamish Nation, Vancouver. A hundred people or more were treated to a power-packed hour of traditional stories brought colorfully to life through song and dance. The very heartful presentation culminated in a community dance that got everyone up as a representative of their designated clan: wolf, killer whale, eagle and raven.
Thank you to Fran Woodcock for organizing this function and to Klahoose Nation for hosting it.
